मध्यप्रदेश सरकार के विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग और रक्षा/अंतरिक्ष क्षेत्र की कंपनी पारस डिफेंस एंड स्पेस टेक्नोलॉजीज के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए हैं। इस समझौते के तहत कंपनी राज्य में अपनी सेमीकंडक्टर परियोजना स्थापित करने की योजना बना रही है।
विधानसभा परिसर में मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव और कंपनी के प्रबंध निदेशक (MD) मंजुल शरद शाह के बीच हुई बैठक में इस प्रस्तावित निवेश को लेकर चर्चा हुई।

अनुमानित निवेश: कंपनी द्वारा शुरुआती दौर में लगभग ₹6,200 करोड़ का निवेश प्रस्तावित है।

प्रस्तावित भूमि व स्थान: प्रोजेक्ट के लिए उज्जैन स्थित 'डीएमआईसी विक्रम उद्योगपुरी (फेज-2)' में लगभग 40 से 50 एकड़ भूमि का प्राथमिक चयन किया गया है, जिसके आवंटन के लिए जल्द प्रस्ताव दिया जाएगा।
प्रोजेक्ट की प्रकृति: कंपनी की योजना मध्यप्रदेश में एक विश्वस्तरीय OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) इकाई स्थापित करने की है।

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and defense/aerospace firm Paras Defence and Space Technologies. Under this agreement, the company plans to establish a semiconductor project in the state.
The proposed investment was discussed during a meeting at the State Assembly complex between Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and the Managing Director of the company, Manjul Sharad Shah.
