The primary objective of this program is to prepare professionals for India's evolving labor laws and social security ecosystem, effectively bridging the gap between legal theory and practical implementation.

Key Highlights of the Program

  • Overwhelming Response: While the initial target for the first batch was set at 60 seats, overwhelming demand led to the enrollment of 66 professionals. Due to this high interest, plans for a second batch are already being considered.

  • Diverse Participant Profile: The program has attracted employers, HR professionals, labor law practitioners, compliance officers, and corporate leaders from across the country.

  • Course Format: This is a three-month online program featuring classes every Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The online modules will be followed by a 4-day residential session at the GNLU Gandhinagar campus, focusing on interactive workshops and practical case studies.

Statements from Key Dignitaries

Ramesh Krishnamurthi (Central Provident Fund Commissioner, EPFO):"In this era of new Labor Codes (especially the Social Security Code, 2020) and rapid digitization, we need professionals who possess both legal insight and the capability to execute it on the ground. Today, compliance is not just a legal obligation but the foundation of responsible governance and institutional credibility."He also highlighted EPFO's recent technological advancements, including biometrically-enabled services, Universal Account Number (UAN) integration, and digital compliance platforms.
Kumar Rohit (Director, PDUNASS):"This program represents a unique confluence of PDUNASS’s field experience and GNLU’s academic excellence. Driven by changing workforce structures and digital governance, there is a strong demand for professionals who can seamlessly integrate rules into workplace systems. This initiative will directly support the vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047'."
Professor (Dr.) S. Shanthakumar (Director, GNLU):"This program is an excellent example of academia-industry collaboration. Labor laws should not be viewed merely as regulatory rules, but as strategic instruments for employee welfare and organizational growth."
